Carrotia from Mage Company Now Live on Kickstarter

Carrotia Kickstarter

As a rabbit, one of the most important things to you and your kin are the orange delicacies known to the upper world as carrots. Carrots can solve all forms of major illness – especially hunger. Things are good in your life as long as you have carrots, but when the supplies run low it’s up to the bravest rabbits in the bunch to go out into the wilds to collect more of your precious life nectar. There are dangers in the wild, though, as time is short and the birds circling overhead are always looking for a quick bite.

Carrotia is a light co-operative, tile placement game for 1-6 players where the players collectively work together against a timer to build three different mazes of increasing size. The master rabbit needs to dash from the entrance to the exit of each maze within a specific number of moves according to the current mission card, scooping up the precious carrots while avoiding the owl, hawk and other birds as they swoop low over the zones causing mayhem and mischief.

The game is listed for ages 8+ and the components for the game are lively and colorful. You can get a copy of the game from the current Kickstarter being run by Mage Company for $25. What’s more is that each stretch goal the campaign hits will unlock a new expansion for the game. With a 30-minute play time, this game would be perfect for a family gathering or something as a filler on your game nights. You must use strategy when moving about the maze as dice will determine where and how the birds move on your turn. With 17 days to go, Carrotia is on its way to being funded in no time. Check out the campaign for yourself and grab a copy while you can!
