Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu Spreading Madness at Gen Con [Gen Con 2016]

Not long ago F2Z Entertainment made an announcement that spiraled the minds of gamers across the globe: a brand new version of Pandemic will be releasing this year at Gen Con. Inspired by Lovecracft’s ever-frightening mythos, this new skin of the game is entitled Pandemic: Reign of Cthulhu. Not only is this a different version of an already much-loved game, it brings all sorts of new mechanics to the table that have never been seen in the Pandemic universe before.

Players take the role of investigators and will be burdened with the close-to-impossible task of sealing cosmic portals around worrying locations before beings of ancient evil, known as Old Ones, break out of their prison and awake into the world. Be weary, however, as each move you make could lead you further and further towards an awakening moment of insanity!

The game will be released at this coming Gen Con, allowing attendees to get their hands in on the madness spreading throughout the event. So far this is the first “must have” game for me and I plan to snag a copy as soon as I get my feet inside the exhibit hall. Check out the teaser trailer below, but make sure you’ve got yourself shrouded from the insanity that dwells within!
