Kickstarter Preview – BANE by Gamesicle, LLC

After a virus kills off the lesser species of the planet, three forms of life remain. The Vampires, Werewolves, and Super Humans. These original Earth inhabitants each feel they have rights to be in control, but the other two think otherwise. Welcome to BANE – a tabletop card game on Kickstarter now.

In BANE, you take control of a faction and fight for supremacy by coming out on top for the Mastery of the Hunt. Players engage on the board (hunting grounds) and you earn points based on your ability to survive the hunt. You can protect yourself, but if you leave yourself open, you may walk away with more than your ego injured.

The artwork for this game is very enticing, and the design for the gameboard and cards look great. Stretch goals include upgrading the cardstock, producing wooden tokens, and some other mystery goals that will be revealed as they hit those goals. Their Kickstarter page features videos on how to set up the game board and how to play the game. You can also preview the rules to the game for better understanding.

If you’re looking for an engaging game for 2-5 players and you’ve got about an hour of room on your game nights, consider checking this game out and making a pledge. The intro video hooked us and we are hoping to bring you a preview soon. Hunt or be hunted…in BANE.
