I:T Coverage For Gen Con 2015 on GoFundMe

gofundme

Hello there readers! We’ve never done something like this before, but after doing some number crunching and seeing some successful projects similar to this, we are asking for some help. While we are hoping to cover ourselves for our yearly Gen Con excursion, a little boost would be extremely helpful. Previous years we’ve lived about an hour away from the event, but that is not the case for 2015. We decided to launch a GoFundMe campaign for this. Why not Kickstarter? We are not yet at the point to offer many physical rewards, but hope to do so in the future.

We are reaching out for help with covering some basic costs such as gas and lodging for our trip since we are traveling from Texas this year. We are open to suggestions for “rewards” for helping us get there, but we have already thrown out ideas such as getting together and hanging out or playing a game with you, crediting you/your company at the end of all of our Gen Con coverage videos, and more.

If we are able to raise even a little, we are hoping to at least cover a new video camera to bring better quality videos to our readers. We appreciate your love and support over the years and hope to continue to bring you quality gaming news, reviews, and opinions in years to come. The GoFundMe campaign will be up until just before Gen Con, and we are looking to raise about $1,500 for these costs, and your donation would make a world of difference. Bringing the convention to those that can’t attend is something we value and want to continue doing. Thanks in advance, and as always, happy gaming!
