Since then, her interests have broadened with her favorite games including Battlestar Galactica, Pathfinder, Lord of the Rings LCG, WarmaHordes, and more. Wow, it has been a busy week! We’ve been busting *ahem* to play games, get more reviews ready, and so much more. We hope you’ve enjoyed the review of Coup and Raine’s continued fictional story from our Shadows of Brimstone campaign. Check out news from this week!

  • Shipment of products from many companies, Fantasy Flight Games included, are delayed because of the disputes in shipping companies on the west coast. Read some details on what is going on and the games that are being delayed as a result.

  • A new game about The Little Prince is coming soon to accompany the new film. Read about it over at Ludonaute!
  • The first season of Privateer Press’s organized play is life! Check out Path of Devastation: Riven Bonds.

  • The folks that brought you Conflicted: The Survival Card Game have launched a campaign for their Patriot Playing Cards. Other options to pick up include shirts and a bronze cast Patriot statue which is worth a look itself.
  • Support our troops overseas! Check out this campaign to set up board game centers for our soldiers – it is a worthy cause!
  • If you like Red Dragon Inn, but also wish you had a way to store all of that awesomeness, you’ll be happy to know that number 5 is coming via Kickstarter, and it also is coming in a giant box to store all of the previous games!

  • Nearly $9million dollars raised for Exploding Kittens. Ohemgee.
  • Want to boost your current board games? Check out Meeple Source’s current campaign that provides resource and meeple tokens for games such as Lords of Waterdeep, Ticket to Ride, Pandemic, Power Grid, and so much more!

What We’re Up To

  • If you follow us on Instagram, you probably see a lot of what we are playing throughout the week, so this may be old news to you already! But for those that don’t, we’ve been busy gaming bees. Another session in our Shadows of Brimstone campaign was completed, and we’re looking forward to unloading some dark stone next session.
  • Played our first game of Chinatown! Raine beat out Kae and her sister, but only by a bit!
  • For demoing purposes, we’ve been playing Student Bodies. It is crazy how fast some players get turned into smart zombies, and how the right cards at the right time can (nearly) secure a win!

  • Darkest Night by Victory Point Games got its maiden play in this week as well, and another play of Sellswords down. Firefly also hit the table.
  • Fantasy Frontier got another play and will be ready for review soon as well.
  • And of course…so much Dead of Winter.

This morning, we posted a short video to our Facebook page. Many folks have commented, and told us in person, that our video review intros are a bit too long/complicated, and we listened.
