New Tabletop Soundtrack App Available on Kickstarter

fantasy soundtrack app

David Glock, a designer based out of the UK, is on Kickstarter trying to raise funds to support his upcoming project. He’s already created a soundboard app based on World War 2 (Featured in the header video on the project), and is wanting to make a Tabletop Soundtrack App combining WW2, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, and more. An interesting hook to this project? It is pay-what-you-want.

On the description page for the project, there are sound samples of what he’s hoping to create with the fantasy board and they sound fitting. The “stretch goals” are just more sounds and music that will be added to the app as allowed by funds. The app will be developed for iOS and Android devices, and then to Mac and Windows PC if the goal is passed.

The pay-what-you-want system may enable folks to get these cool sounds on the cheap, but the more you pledge, the more likely this project is to become a reality! The app is said to contain no advertising, and I think that’s pretty enticing in itself. If you’re looking for a way to add some environment to your board game, RPG, or wargame, head on over and check out the details of this project, and decide how much you think it is worth! The project ends on April 10th.
