Trains took off with a powerful start and impressed gamers all over the country. This popular game, adapted from the Japanese version, is now getting its second game. Trains: Rising Sun will introduce three new boards to the game, and can be combined with the original game or work as its own stand-alone game.
Two of the new boards are specifically aimed towards two player games, while the other map, Nagoya, is for 2-4 player games. A new feature with this set is Route Bonus cards. These cards give you bonuses for being the first to connect particular stations, which makes strategic planning key. Rising Sun also includes Route Bonus cards for the first game should you so choose to use them.
Trains: Rising Sun doesn’t have a solid release date, but we do know that the game will be in retail stores this October. You can check out the rulebook for the new Trains game here and get yourself primed for your gaming sessions. Be sure to check out the AEG product page for Trains for more details and preview photos of cards and boards for the new game.
