Good News From Paizo With A Dash Of Not-So-Good News

Don’t get too worried, Paizo isn’t going anywhere! I’ll get the not-so-good news out of the way first to let everyone rest easy. The news is that the Adventure Card Guild Launch decks are being pushed back another week to October 1st. However, Tanis O’Conner says that players should still head to their participating FLGS for a preview scenario, On The Horizon, and get a mini-chronicle sheet for their Adventure Card Guild character.

Card Game fans can now anticipate updates on Tuesdays from members of the team that will include thoughts on new releases, stories, and whatever else may pertain to the Adventure Card Guild. A preview was also posted for Scenario 1-2, The Season of the Shackles, and players can anticipate plenty of sharks! The preview posted was as follows :

Put the Shark Island location card in the center of the table. Using the deck list from Shark Island, make a number of Shark Island stacks equal to the number of characters. Treat each of these stacks as a unique Shark Island location deck.

The last bit of good news really excited me, because the spoiler photos include my favorite iconic. If you want to see one of the new iconics being created by WizKids, check this out! Additionally, we’re getting a sneak preview at Alahazra’s headdress. The Oracle is my favorite class, so I was excited to see this as the preview. To see the original announcement, check out the Paizo blog. If you’ve been waiting on the character decks, the delay is a sad but minor thing, and at least fans were given plenty of good news with it!
