In 2011, Inkwell Ideas launched a project called DungeonMorph. The idea was to grant gamers the ability to instantly create dungeons for their RPG’s or other games that required custom maps. This year, Inkwell Ideas has produced some revised versions of the dice to make them clearer, more streamlined, and with more precise imagery for player use. The Explorer Dice set is available now, with the Adventurer and Spellunker Sets being made available in October.
These dice include 30 different images on them, and can be manipulated to create an ideal dungeon, or rolled randomly for an unexpected journey. Additionally, there are cards and DungeonMorph fonts that can be used to create dungeons without the dice. A full listing of their products is available on the DungeonMorph website. The dice come in sets of 5, and each set will give you new rooms and areas to explore. Check out the Explorer Set options on its product page to see what you can make!
The dice sets will run for $19.95, and those in the US can take advantage of free shipping with the coupon code “OffsetShipping”, and the same code will reduce international shipping by $6. These dice look pretty cool, and I am anxious to see the rest of the dice sets come available.
