To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Memoir ’44 board game, Days of Wonder has released a brand new expansion called the D-Day Landings. The expansion includes 6 brand new maps using the Extended Breakthrough format, and each map is 23 full hexes deep. There’s plenty of room for your forces to do battle, and with these maps you can host battles on a scale not seen before.

With these maps you can play settings such as American Airborne, Utah Beach, Omaha Beach, Gold Beach, Juno Beach, and Sword Beach. If you’re feeling ballsy you can even combine these with other scenarios to have double- or even triple-map battles. With enough players, you can even link all six Battle Maps together for the Ultimate D-Day Landing Experience, creating a giant board that recreates the entire Normandy coast!

You can order the D-Day Landings Maps from either the Days of Wonder store, or down at your local brick and mortar. Because of the new expansion, Days of Wonder has updated the Reinforcements Table for the game which can be found on their website in a pdf. If you’re looking to expand your Memoir ’44 games or whether you want to recreate D-Day with a bang, check out the new expansion!
