Pandemic: Contagion Debuting At Gen Con 2014

pandemic contagion

After many years of developing strategy to defeat the diseases that threaten mankind’s existence, Z-MAN Games is turning the tables. You are now the disease, and your mission? Wipe out human civilization. In Pandemic: Contagion, you’ll do just that, and you can do it as early as mid-August at this year’s Gen Con in Indianapolis.

This game, unlike other Pandemic titles,  is not cooperative. You will be competing against fellow players (different diseases) to see who can dominate humanity. With no cure for you or your fellow diseases, the one of you that wipes out all mankind will come out on top as the most deadly disease ever known to man, may he rest in peace.

Pandemic: Contagion is a stand-alone game that is set for release at Gen Con 2014. The Pandemic Dice Game is still coming later this year (in the fall).  I’m pretty excited about this, as I love games where you’re already playing an evil or opposition in the world. We hope to see more information about this game soon, and we’ll share it with you when we do!

Great write-up and summary of the game. Would like to use this on the BGG page instead of the current description. Mind?
