Fantasy Flight Announces DungeonQuest Revised Edition

fantasy flight dungeonquest

Prepare to return to Dragonfire Dungeon, as Fantasy Flight re-releases a revised version of the dungeon exploring game, DungeonQuest! While searching for treasure and racing against your fellow heroes, you must also be on the watch for the dragon that roams the halls of the dungeon. You must escape the dungeon with your treasure to win the game, but doing so without running into the dragon, Kalladra, may prove harder than you think.

This revised edition of DungeonQuest has updated the elements of combat, as well as improved upon the dungeon itself, including a chance to make the dungeon larger than the original one. More details on how the rules have changed are available on the product page of FFG’s website. More details about the changes will also be posted on the FFG website, so be on the lookout for those if DungeonQuest is something that interests you.

We know plenty of folks who didn’t like the original editions due to mis-worded rulebooks and a lack of flow in the game, so we’re curious as to if it will change their minds. DungeonQuest is set to release in the third quarter of this year, with a release date coming as that time approaches. Will you brave Dragonfire Dungeon, or be consumed by the monsters that lie within? If you played the previous versions of DungeonQuest, what were your thoughts? What would you like to see changed?
