One of Raine's biggest hobbies has always been gaming. It all started with an Atari and spread out to Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: the Gathering, and Dungeons & Dragons. As an artist, Raine takes pride in painting models for games as well as making his own terrain. He's also been a writer for many years, working both in the journalism industry and writing pieces of fiction. He decided to create Initiative : Tabletop as a platform to talk about all things gaming that he simply thought were cool, and reviewing games became a part of it!

Deep-Cut Studio Teams Up with Heroic Maps for New Gaming Maps

Deep Cut Heroic Maps Map Set

Making friends is fun, as Deep-Cut Studio says, and they’re living that statement to the fullest. Over the past couple of weeks we’ve received a lot of news about the company partnering with various other businesses to produce a few different lines of products. This week isn’t starting off any different, as Deep-Cut has just announced a new partnership with Heroic Maps to offer a new line of RPG and miniatures game maps and map tiles.

The first release with Heroic Maps will be two different map sets and one map tiles set. The map set offer a day and night version of a Cemetery along with a large mansion called Edgmoor Manor that will come in both a normal and ruined building environment. The Havenwater tile set will include 10 different map tiles to create a large city on the water. All of these products are set to be available starting April 14th, and if you pre-order any of them you can get a 10% discount.

Though Deep-Cut is reaching their arms out quite wide as of late, the partnerships are looking promising. With all the new map products releasing lately you can be sure you’ll get something for whatever game you see fit to play. The discount is great if you’re looking to pre-order any of the products, and so far each of the maps looks awesome. If you want to learn more about the map set or the map tiles, head on over to either Deep-Cut or Heroic Maps.
