Since then, her interests have broadened with her favorite games including Battlestar Galactica, Pathfinder, Lord of the Rings LCG, WarmaHordes, and more. Initiative Tabletop Group

Hello gamers, it is once again Friday! The end of the week, weekend gaming will soon commence, and the cares of the work week will all fall away! Well, maybe not for everyone, but weekend gaming is still fun. But before you run off, check out some of the news that we didn’t cover this week!

Announcements and Releases

  • Manor of Ravens, an expansion for Descent : A Journey in the Dark was announced.
  • Star Wars X-Wing’s Z-95 Headhunter expansion pack got a preview on the FFG page.
  • The next volume of The Iron Kingdoms : Excursions is now available for download for Privateer Press fans.
  • Remember Zombies, Keep Out? There’s a video tutorial up now for those interested in the details!
  • Another guide is up for Netrunner fans, specifically for your corporation tactics.
  • Socks of Catan. Because, why not?
  • Z-MAN Games is releasing My First Carcassonne, formerly Kids of Carcassonne, for younger players to get into the gaming world!
  • You might see Cards Against Humanity more readily available soon, as they are making it possible for retailers to pick up the game to distribute through your local game store!

Around The Office

  • All of us are gearing up for a Malifaux demo that will be taking place at The Common Room on April 5th, better known this year as International Tabletop Day! In preparation for that, we’ve all been playing Malifaux throughout the week.
  • Christina and Jacob played Venture Forth for a demo we hosted this past week as well, in addition to Forbidden Desert and Hatch : The Dragonology Card Game. They also split for a couple games, Christina played Rampage and Jacob played Devastation of Indines.
  • Kae’s been playing a lot of Arena of War, an extension of the D&D world tied to The Sundering.
  • Anthony Lanman was the winner of our D&D T-shirt contest, so congratulations to him!

We’ve got some goodies planned for this upcoming week, including some more game reviews, as well as a preview into Fantasy Coins that we told you about a while ago! We are gearing up for International Tabletop Day, and you should too!
