Plaid Hat Games logo

Plaid Hat Games has just posted on their official page that they’re on the lookout for playtesters for an upcoming Summoner Wars release. The release is being called Summoner Wars Alliances, and it will be a big box starter for the game. If you want to playtest this bad boy you can sign up through the Plaid Hat Corps page, but there are some restrictions.

The playtest will be taking place during the entire month of April. If you’re interested in becoming a playtester you need to sign up for the Plaid Hat Corps. Once you get your registration processed you will need to submit an NDA to the company and let them know you’re officially interested. You know, like with paperwork and stuff. Those who are selected and complete their playtesting duties will receive store credit on Plaid Hat’s site and will be able to stay on as playtesters for other games.

The Summoner Wars Alliances set will include 8 complete faction decks, making it playable right out of the box. All 16 factions are listed to be represented, due to each new summoner being a hybrid of two existing factions. It is called Summoner Wars ALLIANCES after all. If you want a chance to get in on this action, head to the links above and get yourself signed up!
