Stone Blade Entertainment Announces Ascension: Realms Unraveled

Ascension Realms Unraveled

Coming in June this year, a brand new expansion for the hit deck building game Ascension will be released upon us. Ascension: Realms Unraveled will be available as a standalone 1 to 4-player game, and it can also be combined with previous sets to create the ultimate Ascension experience. Players will come together and explore the world of Vigil with up to six players total.

Realms Unraveled will, for the first time, include cards that belong to more than one faction. These dual-faction heroes help bolster a new mechanic being added to the game, called Multi-Unite. The mechanic allows players to earn rewards for playing heroes from the same faction. The expansion also brings back the Transform mechanic, letting players to turn their cards into more powerful versions later in the game.

As always, the art looks great and the cards continue to offer variety. Ascension: Realms Unraveled will be available in June, which means it’ll hit the streets right before Gen Con. This way, players can get some experience with the set before the tournaments take off at the convention this year. Get yourself ready to explore more of Vigil when this expansion hits shelves.
