Gen Con Extends Co-Sponsorship with Mayfair Games

A beautiful relationship has taken place over the past few years at Gen Con. Of course I’m referring to the partnership between Gen Con LLC and Mayfair Games. This partnership has resulted in a great co-sponsorship that has helped the convention continue to grow each year. This year both parties are kicking things up a notch, as Gen Con has just announced that they’ve extended the co-sponsorship with Mayfair through 2017.

Adrian Swartout, CEO of Gen Con LLC, commented on the partnership:

“Whether teaming with our charity partners, running record-breaking events, or delivering a world-class Exhibit Hall experience, Mayfair Games has taken every opportunity to amplify the excitement of Gen Con. Given their amazing performance as Co-Sponsors during the prior three years, we know that they will be an integral part in our ramp up to Gen Con 50, taking place in 2017.”

Last year Mayfair Games held numerous on-site events that saw a lot of praise. The company even managed to set the world record for the largest game of Catan ever played, and got the event into the Guiness Book of World Records. The partnership continues to plan big events for this year, so stay tuned to see what’s coming!
