Celestial Battles Come To Earth In Kingdom By Black Locust Games

The fights of angels are now yours to control in a new game on Kickstarter called Kingdom. Black Lotus Games brings us a new board game in which you will either command the army of angels led by Gabriel, or those led by Beelzebub. Using the elements of Earth, Water, and Fire, 2 players go head to head in an effort to take control of the opposing player’s realm, or destroy them while defending your own.

Players use cards with Angelic Scripts to give them buffs and advantages in battle and movement, while Pillar cards call upon the elements to aid them. Visiting Earth can charge the power meters for either side, a mechanic that must be managed carefully or it will affect the usefulness of the cards you may draw throughout the game. For those curious about the game, there is a lite Print-and-Play version of the game available, and its certainly worth checking out.

The art in the game is breathtaking, and I am personally very excited for Kingdom to come to life. The full rules can be seen in an PDF through their Kickstarter page, as well as more detailed images of the art. As the project progresses, Chapters detailing the story behind Kingdom will be released for fans to read and prepare with. Check out the top video for an overview of the game, as well as further down the page for a How To Play video. If only for the artwork, I would highly recommend all of our readers mosey over to the funding page and check it out.
