Those of us who eat, sleep, and breathe Gen Con each year are already saddling up plans for next year’s event. We’ve already learned that the convention has sold out its Exhibit Hall in record time, and now we’ve gotten more information on when attendees can expect to start registering, submitting events, and more. The offices of Gen Con are currently closed, but they will reopen on January 6th, however in the meantime we’ve got plenty of information to get us through until then.
Pre-registration for Gen Con 2014 will begin next month. Specifically, badge pre-registration will open on January 26th and remain open until June 29th. Hotel registration begins on January 28th, so make sure you don’t forget it!
Gen Con 2014 Event Submissions begin on January 10th. Now is the time to start planning your events, as you’ll need to submit them as soon as possible to make sure you get adequate space! Something of note, the Event Host Policy has changed for the new year. You will need to review the new document before submitting any events. If you have any questions, you can submit them through the email@example.com email link.
All early event submissions will end on February 7th, so all events submitted by that date get priority placement. Gen Con will continue to receive events after that date, though those submitted after the date may not find available space or be included in the program.
