Asmodee Announces Cappuccino, A New Family Game

cappuccino

We are taught to stack blocks and cups from a young age,  but now you must be a bit more tactical about it. A new family game is coming from the folks at Asmodee Editions soon called Cappuccino. Marketed as being straight-forward enough for young kids to play but tactical enough that people of all ages can enjoy, Cappuccino is a game of cup stacking in which you try to stack the tallest cup stack while blocking your opponents.

The brief description of the game on the news page says that players take turns taking cups from the stacks available to create their own cup stack. However, you may only use cups of your own color, and you must take them from stacks that are smaller than the one you are constructing. Picking up the game should be easy, but the re-playability makes it a great brain exercise for the family.

Set for release in the first quarter of 2014, Cappuccino will hit shelves with the hopes of making its way onto the table of families world-wide. With easy to understand rules, high quality game pieces, and the strength of being enjoyed by all ages, I think that Cappuccino will  have great success. Cappuccino will retail for $29.99, so start saving to get this game to family game night!
