Raine's been gaming for as long as he can remember. It all started back with his video gaming roots, and as he got older he transitioned into tabletop. A lover of all games, some of his favorites include Pathfinder, Battlestar Galactica, Magic: the Gathering, D&D Attack Wing, Regnum Angelica, and Warmachine/Hordes. Raine's been writing for many years, and loves being a part of the gaming industry.

Two Days Left for Encounter Dice on Kickstarter

Encounter Dice

Earlier we touched on a Kickstarter that RPG fans may find interesting: Encounter Dice. The Kickstarter is being run by Pyre Studios, a company based out of the UK. Through the campaign, gamers can pick up a special set of dice, called Encounter Dice, that come in handy for creating characters and NPCs. The Kickstarter is in its last couple of days, and since it started there have been some new additions.

Two of the campaign’s stretch goals have been reached: Gender and Social Position. With these add-ons, players will be able to randomize the gender of any characters created, as well as their social status, be it beggar, noble, or more. Other stretch goals include Treasure, Quest Type, and a lot more.

There’s plenty of room to squeeze in and snatch yourself a set of Encounter Dice, and I definitely recommend them to anyone who plays a lot of tabletop RPGs. They will certainly come in handy for character creation, NPC creation, and other random situations you find yourself in. Make sure you make it to the Kickstarter to grab yourself a set before it’s too late!
